MOUNTING OUR FABRIC RACEWAYS

All of our fabric pieces are made to be mounted into studs, with these instructions assuming the standard 16″ between studs. If your studs are spaced differently and you spoke with us about custom bracket spacing for your order, adjust the procedures accordingly

If you cannot find a stud where you want your fabric raceway to be mounted, you can always buy heavy duty drywall anchors at your local hardware store.

SMALL STRETCHED FABRIC RACEWAY/CAT LOUNGE

6 – screws

This piece uses three studs, spaced 16″ on center from one another. Make sure the fabric is stretched tight, so the cats will have an easier time walking on it.

1. Using a stud finder and a pencil, find and mark the center of each of the three studs you’ll be mounting the raceway to.

2. The shorter of the two lengths of fabric is for the flat side of the raceway, and the longer length is for the angled side. Mount the plank at the end of the flat side in the center of a stud first. Then, using a level, mount the center plank in the next stud.

3. Finally, angle the longer length of fabric the way you want, either up or down, and mount the last plank in the center of the stud.

LARGE STRETCHED FABRIC RACEWAY/CAT LOUNGE

Mounting Instructions LARGE STRETCHED FABRIC RACEWAY/CAT LOUNGE

This piece is designed to be mounted into four studs, with the two longer lengths of fabric each being 32″ long and skipping a stud, and the short length of fabric running at an angle between two studs. Make sure the fabric is stretched tight, so the cats will have an easier time walking on it.

1. Using a stud finder and a pencil, find and mark four studs, with 32″ between the first and second studs, 16″ between the second and third studs, and 32″ between the third and fourth studs.

2. Mount the leftmost plank into the center of a stud. Using a level, mount the next plank into the next stud.

3. Angle the short length of fabric the way you want, either up or down, and mount the next plank into the next stud.

4. Using a level, mount the final plank into the final stud.

DELUXE CAT HAMMOCK

6 – screws

This piece spans four wall studs, but uses only three, with 32″ between the left and middle studs and 16″ between the middle and right studs. Make sure the fabric is stretched tight, so the cats will have an easier time walking on it.

1. Using a stud finder and a pencil, find and mark the center of each of the three studs you’ll be mounting the raceway to.

2. The longer of the two lengths of fabric is for the flat side of the raceway, and the shorter length is for the angled side. Mount the plank at the end of the flat side in the center of a stud first. Then, using a level, mount the center plank in the next stud (two studs down, 32″ away).

3. Finally, angle the longer length of fabric the way you want, either up or down, and mount the last plank in the center of the stud.

16″/32″ HAMMOCK

4 – screws

Mounting Instructions 32 Inch Hammock

The 32″ Hammock spans three studs, and the 16″ Hammock spans two. They’re spaced out for 16” studs center to center. Make sure the fabric is stretched tight, so the cats will have an easier time walking on it.

1. Using a stud finder and a pencil, find and mark the center of each of the two studs you’ll be mounting the raceway to.

2. Mount the first plank, then pull the other plank (keeping fabric tight) and mark the two holes on the wall with a pencil. It helps to hold a level along the fabric to mount it perfectly straight.

3. Next, drill the two marked holes and install the final plank.
