We want to applaud everybody out there peacefully protesting. Although it’s been shocking and sad to see more and more in the news about police brutality and systemic racism, it’s incredibly uplifting to see so many people coming together to help change the world. This has been a long time coming and our hearts go out to anyone in the black community that’s been discriminated against by police or anyone else.
We really wanted to do something to help out and decided to help raise some money to donate towards the cause. We decided to do a t-shirt, with 100% of the proceeds being donated to Campaign Zero, who are pushing for the implementation of stricter policing policies nationwide, meant to help lower police violence and add a higher level of accountability.
These are very soft shirts made from a blend of cotton and polyester and are screen printed. The design is an ink drawing by my sister, Kate Wilson, of an aerial view of Black Lives Matter Plaza in Washington, DC.
100% of the proceeds are being donated to Campaign Zero. If you would like to learn more about the work Campaign Zero is doing or would like to donate directly to them, head over to their website. Thanks!
