Many cats feel safe and secure up high and your cat will have a cozy place to curl up out of the way of other cats, dogs or kids. The Lounge can be a standalone item or incorporated into a full layout.
In late 2019 we launched our collection of Gen. 3 furniture! This latest collection has been meticulously engineered to be the strongest and most versatile collection we’ve produced to date. Instead of pine, we now use bamboo which is an incredibly strong material that had allowed for a thinner and sleeker design. We also added an additional mounting point underneath each Mounting Plank which will provide extra support and hold the furniture rock solid against the wall.
Are your studs 24″ apart?
Our products are designed to mount into studs at 16″ apart on-center. If your studs are not 16″ apart, please contact us before your purchase and we can help you out! Please note that additional materials may need to be purchased.
Already have Cat Mod (pine) items?
Our grommeted fabric is compatible between Cat Mod and Gen 3 (bamboo) furniture! Just extend your current Cat Mod setup using grommeted fabric and you can install any Gen 3 item from there. However, the wooden components are not compatible across our Cat Mod and Gen 3 collections.
Comes with Natural or Charcoal Gray cotton canvas.
If you’d like a shorter hammock, check out our 16-inch Lounge!

There are four smaller hammocks in my house and one 32" inch one. One of my male cats has decided that this 32" hammock is HIS spot so when the other male cat is on it, he stands nearby and stares at him but the intimidation never works so he finds another spot, which is easy because I've got so many pieces. Simple, beautiful and sturdy. The natural color blends perfectly with the natural bamboo.
I love the idea of this item; however, I haven't found a place to hang it. I bought the hammock to be the end of a trail of cat shelves I have hung up, it was set to go above a window. Our home, which is 5 years old, didn't have the studs we needed to hang it, so we proceeded to use dry wall anchors, only the 3 screws that are used for each end of the piece are set so close together that when the dry wall anchors were in, they were so close together that the integrity of the wall became a problem. When my cat (who is around 10 lbs) was up in the hammock, the entire thing fell off the wall because the dry wall anchors & screws couldn't hold the weight with the integrity of the wall comprised. In hindsight, maybe using only 1 or 2 anchors and not three would have worked since our cats aren't over 10 lbs, but it is too late now as the whole area had to be patched.
Hi Desiree, I'm sorry to hear about the issues you've encountered while attempting to install the 32" Lounge! We actually don't recommend using anchors or bolts as your primary support system. I'm reaching out to you via e-mail directly to help you get the item securely installed!
I wasn't able to use the wall-mounted hammock we bought because it turned out to be just too big to fit over my office. (I was hoping to get my cat off my keyboard!) It seemed like a good product, though. The instructions seemed very complete. I was impressed the it came with a level.
