The Play has always been one of our most popular wall-mounted cat trees. It’s a mid-size condo, which works well for multiple cats and includes areas to play, lounge, and nap. This version comes with a transparent twist, allowing you to sit back and enjoy all the perks that come with X-ray vision. Literally, everything your cat does on their cat hammocks becomes 10 times more fascinating with the clear cat hammocks.
The frame is made from solid, sustainable bamboo with steel brackets. Once your feline’s new furniture is mounted on the wall, the design creates a floating/bracketless look on the wall. The hammock levels are made from heavy-duty vinyl, which has grommets installed every 8” down the sides. This allows you to either mount the structure as we’ve shown here or make alterations to a custom cat furniture design to best suit your home.
Build a Modular, Fully Customizable Cat Wall:
Our wall-mounted cat furniture is designed to be modular. This allows you to mount the structure in a variety of different ways, including being able to mount it in a mirrored fashion to what’s shown in these photos.
You can upgrade your Play by adding additional features like Planters or Feeders to any of the mounting planks, or expand your cat wall by adding Sisal Poles, Bridges, or Cat Beds. The possibilities for expansion are limited only by your wall space.
Cat Furniture Designed to Promote Exercise:
Cats love being up high. The Invisible Play is designed with exercise-promoting obstacles they must traverse prior to arriving at the best (highest) hammocks on the cat tree. They first must climb a ladder, then jump up through an Escape Hatch Shelf. We typically design wall-mounted condos to have multiple routes up and down, in order to avoid multiple cats using the furniture and having the route blocked off. This structure still works well with one, because the middle level of the structure isn’t too high from the ground and cats can just jump down from there. Or if you have a less agile cat, you can also mount this near another surface (like a couch or chair) to create more routes of your own.
Our Product Quality:
For the frame of the Play, we use sustainable bamboo which is very durable and, when matched with the inset steel brackets, can hold an excessive amount of weight. Our shorter 18” hammock sections can hold 85 lbs per hammock and our longer 34” sections can hold 65 lbs. Once the furniture is installed on the wall, the furniture fits together to hide the brackets and make the furniture to appear to be floating on the wall.
Our cat hammocks can be ordered in either a heavyweight cotton canvas or clear vinyl. We’ve been very happy with the new transparent material. It’s a thick gauge vinyl with nickel-platted grommets installed locally. When it comes to cleaning transparent hammocks, you can simply leave the furniture installed and wipe it clean in minutes.
