Cat Mod Play Layouts

It can be helpful to read our basic mounting instructions before continuing on. The basic mounting instructions will help you determine what tools you will need and also about how to mount individual planks, sisal poles, shelves and ladders.

The Play – 16″ stud – layout 1

This is a great medium sized complex for homes with 1-2 cats.

This layout includes:
The Cat Mod Play
Add-on Feeder

If you don’t have a feeder you can use a regular wooden cap in place of it.

The Play – 16″ stud – Layout 2

This is a medium size complex that uses only 3 studs spaced out at 16″. It’s great for walls with limited horizontal space.

This layout includes:
The Cat Mod Play
Add-on Feeder
The Cat Mod Lounge

Or
The Cat Mod Climb
Add-on Feeder

If you don’t have a feeder you can use a regular wooden cap in place of it. If you don’t have the Lounge you wouldn’t be able to build the lower area with the ladder.

The Play – 16″ stud – Layout 3

This is a nice layout for spaces that aren’t very tall. This is the shortest Play layout possible, at 51.5″. For this complex you will need five studs spaced out at 16″ from center to center.

Cat Mod – 16″ stud – Maze

This is a great medium-sized complex for homes with one or two cats. It’s also nice for less agile cats because it doesn’t use a ladder.

For this you will need four studs spaced out at 16″ from center to center.

The Play – 24″ stud – layout 1

This is a great medium sized complex for homes with 1-2 cats. For this layout You need 3 studs spaced out 24″ apart.

This layout includes:

Add-on Feeder

If you don’t have a feeder you can use a regular wooden cap in place of it.
