The Nest Cat Bed offers three different shelf types to choose from and a variety of faux fur plush pads and stain colors. Its frame is made from solid bamboo with hidden steel brackets. The product can be mounted onto walls with any stud spacing and has been weight tested at 65 pounds per shelf. The front of the bed has a stylish Curved Ledge that creates a secure barrier for your cat to lean against while keeping the sides open for a cat to lounge out of. We’ve found that our cats prefer having the Curved Ledge to brace their feet against or to look over while feeling more hidden lounging on the wall.
The Curved Ledge is a new attachment that connects to a variety of our shelves to transform them into comfortable cat beds. These are being sold a la carte for customers interested in upgrading their current furniture. Please note that, although these are designed to be installed to our slotted shelves, if you have an unslotted 34” shelf, you can pretty easily install a Curved Ledge by mounting one side of it onto the front post of the mounting plank and then lining up the ledge with the front of the shelf and using the hole as a guide to drill through the shelf with a ¼” drill bit.
With the furniture’s modular design, every part of the bed can be removed and washed. The mounting planks have metal posts to allow you to grow the structure with hammocks or fabric ladders if you decide to expand your cat’s space over time.
The faux Fur Pads are made from acrylic to create a pet-friendly alternative that replicates the look and feel of real fur. The faux fur is incredibly soft and turns any shelf into a warm resting area for cats.
Washing Instructions –
When you’re ready to clean the bed, just pull the velcro apart, unzip the cover, and remove the form insert. Please keep in mind that the fabric is sensitive to heat, so we do not suggest putting it in the dryer.
Install into walls with any stud spacing!
Although most of our furniture is designed for 16” and 24” studs, our shelves can be installed with one mounting plank being installed into a stud and the other into drywall with the included drywall anchors.

Bamboo is an incredibly strong material, allowing a thinner, sleek design. It’s allowed for a lot of the functional upgrades. Along with our hidden bracket, there’s now an additional mounting point underneath the shelf, which holds the furniture rock solid to the wall.
