What’s better than a cat hammock? After many hours of research, we’ve concluded that it’s an invisible one. These transparent hammocks are made from solid bamboo planks with a heavy-duty clear vinyl sheet running between them to create a perfect photo opportunity/cat bed.
Our see-through cat hammocks are designed to be mounted with the material pulled tight, so cats can either walk on it or use it to lay on. These do not have the same level of traction that comes with our traditional cotton canvas cat hammocks, so try to refrain from mounting them higher than 6 feet. They’re ideal for lower-mounted hammocks meant for playing, taking REALLY cute pictures, or for the cat to use along a route to reach a final destination like a standard Cat Hammock, Bridge, or Nest Cat Bed.
Clear Cat Hammocks with A Modular Twist:
These hammocks are designed in a modular way, which means you can start by providing your kitty with a small area and gradually increase their space. Each mounting plank provides the opportunity to attach various other furniture pieces such as Feeders, Planters, or Scratching Poles, giving you the freedom to design your cat wall however you like. Furthermore, all components are easily washable and replaceable, making maintenance effortless.

Installing the Transparent Hammock:
If you’re installing your hammock into cement, brick, or concrete, choose whichever size you think would best suit your feline friend. For more information regarding installing into those surfaces, please see our Installation Guide to gain a better understanding of the process.
If you’re mounting into drywall with studs, please keep in mind that we have a large collection of cat furniture that can be mounted into any stud spacing, but we highly suggest installing our cat hammocks directly into studs, so please use a stud finder to locate them before placing your order. Because 16” stud spacing is standard in the US, the majority of our hammocks are designed for those. We also have a cat hammock option for 24” stud spacing. If you aren’t yet sure what that spacing is and would like to check later, you could also go with an option that works for any stud spacing like our cat shelves, cat beds, or scratching poles.

The cat hammocks are made of sustainable, durable bamboo planks and patented steel brackets that are inset into the bamboo for a visually appealing floating effect when mounted on the wall. With its sturdy construction, this cat furniture can support 65 lbs per hammock section.
These Invisible Hammocks use transparent vinyl sections in place of our typical heavy-weight cotton canvas. The vinyl is a thick, heavy-duty material that comes with a lot of benefits, like being incredibly easy to clean and acting as a window to your cat’s belly.
