Cleaning the Wall-Mounted Cat Tree
When it comes to cleaning the Juggernaut, it’s a pretty quick and easy process. Please keep cleaning in mind when you decide on how high to install this cat condo on the wall. We suggest taking a cat hair roller and running it over the installed cat hammocks on a weekly basis.
- Cotton Canvas Hammocks – Machine wash on cold on gentle cycle, hang dry.
- Vinyl Hammocks – These can be wiped down without removing the hammock from the wall. Either use a diluted soap/water mixture, or we recommend a pet safe cleaner.
- Bamboo – wipe down with a damp towel in diluted soap/water mixture.
- Scratching posts sections – These are meant to be clawed by the cat and can be easily removed/replaced as they get warn down. Replacement segments can be found by clicking here.
Behavioral Benefits of the Juggernaut Cat Tree/Condo
We work closely with behavioral experts to understand how our designs can help promote mental stimulation, and the Juggernaut checks all the boxes by incorporating a wide range of activities in an all-in-one cat playground. Create a thought-provoking route up your wall to provide a positive source of enrichment and give your cat a space of their own. Experts in behavior explain that providing these healthy outlets can have a positive impact on a cat’s behavior, health, and quality of life.
A Cat Tree Designed to Promote Exercise
When cats were domesticated and moved indoors they were provided with many benefits, like a constant source of food and safety from predators. But with the transition, they lost the access they had to many different sources of enrichment, like hunting and climbing. The Juggernaut is designed to replicate these activities and creates an obstacle course of sorts that the cat must make their way through to access their new favorite area to lounge. Under-stimulated cats are prone to oversleeping and obesity. Numerous studies have been published which show that the majority of indoor cats worldwide are either overweight or obese.
The Best Cat Condo for Large Cats
With large cats, it can be difficult to find cat tree options that will accommodate their large bodies and provide the essential space for them to play and lounge. The Juggernaut is specifically designed with extra space making it our first suggestion when people ask for an option for large cats*.
*Please note that by ‘large cats,’ we’re referring to their frames rather than their weight, and if your cat is obese, then a better option would be The Overlook. This floor-standing cat condo still has that extra space, but doesn’t go so high in the air, which prevents the risk of falling from the cat playground.

Since the furniture is modular, you can customize placement or orientation of parts to come up with an option that best suites your home. This is a layout Tyler Johnson of Ol’tjp Films came up with using similar parts as the Juggernaut.

Stud spacing and wall construction
Most construction in the US is made up of drywall over wall studs, which are wooden or metal 2x4s that act as the frame of the wall and are what the drywall is attached to. Because these studs are very sturdy, we’ve designed the furniture to be installed into them. They’re typically spaced out at 16” from center to center, so that’s what we’ve designed the furniture to accommodate.
