Description

The Maze is great for giving your cat a place to exercise their brain and body. The puzzle-like layout and included Escape Hatch creates a thought-provoking environment that is ideal for 1-3 cats.

Our latest collection has been meticulously engineered to be the strongest and most versatile collection we’ve produced to date. Instead of pine, we now use bamboo which is an incredibly strong material that had allowed for a thinner and sleeker design. We also added an additional mounting point underneath each Mounting Plank which will provide extra support and hold the furniture rock solid against the wall.

Are your studs 24″ apart?
Our products are designed to mount into studs at 16″ apart on-center. If your studs are not 16″ apart, please contact us before your purchase and we can help you out! Please note that additional materials may need to be purchased.

Already have Cat Mod (pine) items?
Our grommeted fabric is compatible between Cat Mod and Gen 3 (bamboo) furniture! Just extend your current Cat Mod setup using grommeted fabric and you can install any Gen 3 item from there. However, the wooden components are not compatible across our Cat Mod and Gen 3 collections.

This piece comes with your choice of Charcoal Gray or Natural cotton canvas.

Excellent quality, craftsmanship, and easy to install

My cat Cardi loves her sky kingdom. Easy to install, hardest part is finding the studs. Excellent customer service, quickly respond when questions are asked. Definitely recommend for any cat owner with a active, curious, and mischievous feline.

An instant hit with my cats

I was overall very impressed with the quality of the Maze Cat Mod when it arrived yesterday. Everything felt very sturdy. The instructions for mounting it were very clear and easy-to-follow. My Loki barely waited for me to install the first two brackets before he had to test it out. I had to pause for him to play before I conned him into getting down so I could finish. He's been obsessed with it ever since. I'm looking forward to adding pieces in the future!

I like the items very much. As I am still looking for someone to help me install the system, I can not tell whether the cats like it. What came as an unpleasant surprise was the fact, that some days after the arrival of my purchase, I got a bill from FedEx for 100 dollars tax. I think you should tell people who buy from abroad about the additional - high- cost

Overpriced and questionable functionality.

The quality of the wood/finish was lacking - especially considering the price. The posts have a very rough uneven finish. Installation wasn't too difficult. My large (22 lb) cat could not use it - the canvas was not stable enough to support him. I mean it could technically hold him but he could not turn around due to the "give" in the canvas. My two smaller cats were curious at first but then avoided it after a few days. They didn't seem to like the uneasiness of the canvas as well. After a week of my cats ignoring it I took it down. This product is very expensive for what you get. 7 unfinished wooden posts and some canvas - that you yourself have to measure and cut. Yes, there's also a wooden "porthole" and the posts have metal brackets attached. Still not worth the $185 gamble on weather or not your cats will go for the odd design. Mine didn't and there are no returns for items once they've been "installed".

Hi Mark, I'm very sorry to hear about your experience with the Cat Mod Maze. The roughness of the wood is because we use 80-grit sandpaper in order to keep a slightly coarse surface. The roughness allows cats to easily grip the wood when playing and they generally enjoy the texture. We aim to create items that are functional for cats and smooth wood wouldn't allow for as much purchase as a rougher surface would. We are always available for troubleshooting and to give advice when cats are hesitant as many factors could play a part. However, at the top of our policy, we include our contact information as we would always like the chance to work with you. If you're unhappy with your purchase, we want an opportunity to change the situation if possible. If you'd like to return your Cat Mod Maze, we can accept your order as a standard return which will incur a 15% restocking fee. Please send the items to our address: 7776 Clyde Park Ave. SW. Byron Center, MI. 49315. Once we receive the return the items will be inspected. This could take up to 2 business days upon receipt. As long as the items are in new and undamaged condition then your refund will be processed with a 15% restocking fee. If you were interested in exchanging the items for something else that will work for you then we can waive the restocking fee and offer you the refund in the form of store credit. Our new generation of wall hammocks is the strongest, most versatile collection we’ve ever created. Cat Tested and Approved

When we initially come up with an idea we build the prototype and mount the rough version of the idea furniture in our home letting our 4 cats help us work out what’s working and what doesn’t. Our facility has just built out a cat room where we’re expanding the process even further by inviting employees to bring in their cats to get additional feedback. The furniture has been evolving over the last 5 years, and we feel very optimistic from the feedback we’re getting back from the furniture’s evolution.
