Returns

About: Cat Climbing Shelf

Our Cat Climbing Shelf is a small, single-stud option that helps cats traverse their cat furniture wall. These Cat Steps are most effective when used as a way for cats to get from one piece of furniture to the next, or as a perch to sit on for a quick rest. They can be installed to the left or right of our mounting planks, making them a versatile option for creating routes to and from the next adventure or nap! The Cat Climbing Shelf can also be added to existing cat wall furniture to extend a surface or create a runway. Purchase three or more for extra savings!

Shelf Mounting Instructions

Stud spacing and wall construction

Most construction in the US is made up of drywall over wall studs, which are wooden or metal 2x4s that act as the frame of the wall and are what the drywall is attached to. Because these studs are very sturdy, we’ve designed the furniture to be installed into them. They’re typically spaced out at 16” from center to center, so that’s what we’ve designed the furniture to accommodate.
