My cat loves his new hammocks. I put it under the window to the backyard, to give him a look out. He loves running up the raceway and lounging on his hammock. It was easy to put together and feels very durable.

I have two cats and two dogs in a small apartment. This tree gives the cats much needed space away from the dogs, and everyone is happy!

Love it! Sturdy in the studs. Love this brand. Cats love their wall. Worth it!

Our big guy Casper loves his cat wall! He weighs 14 lbs and can jump on the shelves no problem.

When we started to explore the options of cat furniture, we knew we wanted some thing that looked nice and was high-quality, considering we were mounting it on our living room wall. Thankfully, once we got the scratching pole and the bridge and hammock installed all of our five cats showed immediate interest in exploring it. We will be looking to add a piece or two in the future.

I knew we had irregularly spaced studs so was prepared for a tricky installation process. Ended up mounting and painting a bunch of 2 x 1 boards to the existing studs, then bolting the playground structure to those. It was harder than I thought it would be (old houses, am I right?) and added another $100 to the cost by the time I got done buying paint and stuff. All of this struggle was essentially self-inflicted, so I’m not blaming Catastrophic Creations for that.

However, putting the structure up sucked, to be perfectly frank. Getting the screws into the bracket thingys was so stressful. If I had it to do again, I would have replaced the screws that came with the product for something 3x stronger, bc trust me, if you’re using a drill with a screwdriver bit, you WILL be at risk of stripping those screws. In particular, the ones that are inserted underneath the brackets — nightmare. It’s nice that the piece is constructed to hide the **** head, but best of luck getting the angle right so the **** actually goes in all the way. Otherwise installation was a snap. But there were 15 of those dang brackets! I’m pretty happy with how it all came out. We didn’t get everything perfect and pretty, but I think the cats will love it (they’re taking some time to adjust to it, which isn’t too surprising). Idk if I’d do it again. It was so much money and stress. I did have room for pressure mounted floor-to-ceiling cat trees and probably that’s what I should have done. That said, this product is inarguably gorgeous — real wood, solid, aesthetic. So maybe once I’ve stopped feeling salty about the install I won’t have as many regrets!

Oh, and we are “saving” the floating sisal posts to install one by one over the next year or so, to extend the novelty factor.

Cats figured out it was a delivery for them before the box was opened. It was hard to keep them out of the room during the installation process. We will need to order a few more items when the kitten (not in the picture) gets bigger and more confident around heights, so we can mount a cat bed at the top to finish the original idea we had for it. We appreciate a thoughtful design and options for different setups.

The customer service was great, very helpful. The exchange and return of the items we could not use were very easy processes.

I love the design and look of this shelf and our cats love it too!

I’ll be honest. I bought this for my 1 year old kitten who decided he’d prefer to jump to the cabinet tops than his regular cat tree. However, this was the best purchase I could have made for him. He and his sister love this thing. While we intended to put it in our living room to deter him from the kitchen cabinets (open concept home), it was slightly too short for above the window. Make sure you find and measure all the stud distances before you purchase. I ran into non-standard distances between the studs surrounding my window, and the bridge ended up too short. We were able to use it as the foundation for their cat wall in our basement and can’t wait to purchase more!

They love it! It took a bit to warm up to them, but now they know and love their new feeding bowls. And the bowls are up and out of the dogs’ reach!

I wanted to hang some climbing furniture in my living room but didn’t have a lot of space. I originally looked at buying a scratching post, wooden bridge, and hammock separately but buying those parts individually is WAY more expensive and was about the same price as the entire expedition set (which also includes multiple other platforms and the scratching post and bridge are larger). Buying the condo sets is a much better deal as the price-per-component is far less. Thankfully, the set is extremely modular and I made a custom layout to fit my space. I didn’t use the entire set and put all of the extra components in storage and hope to use them once I move into a larger place that can accommodate more. I absolutely love the aesthetic and build-quality and my cat, Willow, has already found her new favorite lounge spot!

Loved my experience with carastrophiccreations getting a mock up and suggested pieces. I ended up just ordering the hammock. It looks nice and quality is high but installing was extremely difficult. Either you need a smaller flatter drill (if that even exists) or an incredibly long drill bit (which isn’t standard). The cats like it and it’s being used but I don’t know if I would recommend to friends given the install difficulties.

Great cat bed - stylish but also functional due to the washable cover and velcro attachments; it has my cat’s seal of approval!

I purchased the 50” bridge to complete my cat wall. During installation, I ran into an issue and wasn’t sure whether I had damaged a part or if it was defective. Customer service was incredibly helpful and quickly sent a replacement piece at no cost to me. The bridge is now installed, looks amazing, and my cat wall is finally complete. Great product and outstanding customer service!

We LOVE all of our Catastrophic cat furniture. First, and most important, our cats love it! They have fun moving through the paths and taking a snooze or spying on the house from up above. Second, they are beautiful additions to our home! These cat furniture pieces look great on our walls and guests always comment on how cool and beautiful they are.

Harper absolutely loves her new floating steps! She took to them right away. She loves to pause and use them to scratch before she suddenly takes off for higher ground....the bedroom Armoire that she did NOT have access to until these beautiful floating steps made that possible! Now she can lounge up there; watch the kitties in the backyard as well as the birds. Just hanging out in a quiet place is what she likes to do. She takes major naps there, too! Thank you for making such a wonderful product. My carpenter friend, Ben, installed them in the studs and they are VERY solid and I don't think anything will move them; especially a little 7 pound kitty!

They weren't too sure of it when it went up. My cats are all a bit older so new things can be scary. More and more they are climbing on it and sleeping on it. In the photo, Cowboy is posing.

Of course my three cats like it! It’s an addition to their wall, and we change the color of the fabric to go with the new paint. They love how they can do their claws and to jump to another level! Would probably extend more in the future, we sure recommend this product that we have at least for 5 years now, looks good!

Almost skipped the leaves to save a few bucks, but really glad we didn't. The cats love them.

Had some issues with a product i purchased and they fixed it right away. Offered a solution at no cost or the option to return. The beg is clean and works very well. Cats like sleeping 9’ in the air.

This took my husband and I about an hour to install. Parts on instructions did not match naming convention on parts bags/wrap. In addition, there are parts included not even mentioned in the instructions. It’s as if they updated needed parts but failed to update the instruction book that came with leading to uninstall and reinstall. Cat seems pleased for now but not fully on board with bridge. Seems wildly overpriced.

This is an add on purchase to the climb combo. My baby is still very little and sleeps with me every night so far. She does like climbing up high and looking at the area. I am sure she will love this bed when she gets older.
